Lizzie bit back tears. If she messed up again, she would lose her chance.
“I love you, Hayden. I can’t lose you. I won’t lose you.”
She had tried this so many times. There were so many different ways for it to go wrong, so many ways for her to go back. She’d never escaped the loop.
“Please, Hayden, please don’t.”
But it didn’t matter. Today, tomorrow, five years and seventh months- eventually, Hayden would die. It didn’t matter how he did it. And Lizzie would start the loop again until she could stop him.
